Insurance Information

Dental Insurance:

Smiling couple on the beachYour dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer.  You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for some portion of dental fees for certain common procedures.  That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company.  The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement. Every plan is different, and they will change from time to time.

Although we are not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we are able to help by submitting your claim for you in most cases.  Our clinic is equipped with EDI, which is a paperless electronic claims submission service to help you get reimbursed as quickly as possible, often in a matter of 4-5 days.  Our staff will submit your insurance claim and reasonable supporting documents as a courtesy to you.

If you require extensive treatment, you have the option of submitting a “pre-determination of dental benefits” to your carrier to help determine how much reimbursement you may expect.  This is not mandatory, but is an option, and again our staff will assist you with this.
